Τα Πράσινα Βραβεία Αριστείας 2013 Στέγης και τοίχου είναι ανοιχτ;a για υποβολές ! Υποβολές πρέπει να υποβληθούν μέχρι 20, Ιουνίου του 2013.Φέτος θα παρουσιαστούν επίσημα στις 25, Οκτωβρίου 2013 στοCitiesAlive: 11ο Ετήσιο Green Roof και Wall Συνέδριο στο Σαν Φρανσίσκο, Καλιφόρνια.
Τα Πράσινα Βραβείατου προγράμματος Excellence θα έχουν διακρίσεις σε τρεις τομείς:
- Τα βραβεία σχεδιασμού αναγνωρίζουν την αριστεία σε καινοτόμες και ολοκληρωμένες πράσινες στέγες και το σχεδιασμό τοίχων με ευαισθητοποίηση για τα πολλαπλά οφέλη που έχουν οι πράσινες υποδομές και προσφέρουν στους πελάτες και το ευρύ κοινό.
- Οι Βραβείο Έρευνας τιμούν άτομα ή ομάδες που έχουν εξαιρετική συμβολή στον τομέα της έρευνας γ στην πράσινη στέγη.
- Τα Civic βραβείο προς τιμήν των ατόμων ή ομάδων που έχουν εξαιρετική συμβολή στην βιομηχανία πράσινης στέγης στη χάραξη πολιτικής.
Awards of Excellence
The 2013 Green Roof and Wall Awards of Excellence are now open to submissions! Submissions are due by June 20, 2013.

Each year we recognize integrated design and installation excellence with the Green Roof & Wall Awards of Excellence. We also recognize outstanding contributions to the industry in research and policy. This year's awards will be officially presented October 25, 2013 at CitiesAlive: 11th Annual Green Roof and Wall Conference in San Francisco, CA.
The Green Roof & Wall Awards of Excellence program recognizes distinction in three areas:
- The Design Awards acknowledge excellence in innovative and integrative green roof and wall design and raise awareness of the multiple benefits that green infrastructure can provide clients and the general public.
- The Research Award honour individuals or groups who have made outstanding contributions to the green roof industry in research.
- The Civic Award honour individuals or groups who have made outstanding contributions to the green roof industry in policy development.
The Design Awards
This year there are nine design award categories for outstanding green roof and wall projects in North America. Applicants may submit more than one project for the same, or different award categories.
The Design Awards are selected by a seven-member, multi-disciplinary judging team that includes Architects, Landscape Architects, Engineers and Horticulturists. Submissions are evaluated according to a broad range of weighted criteria including aesthetic, economic, functional and ecological components.
The award categories have been reconfigured this year. The categories are:

To submit, download an entry form for either a green roof or green wall project, then upload it to the online registration site. Remember that after the first two pages of the entry form, submissions must beanonymous!
The Research Award
The Green Roof & Wall Reseach Award honors a person or team that has published a significant green roof or green wall article in a peer-reviewed journal. The nomination process is open to any person or organization that has had an article published in a peer-reviewed journal in the past six years (2007 - 2013).
The Research Award is selected by members of GRHC’s Research Committee, Chaired by Bill Retzlaff, Ph.D., Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville (SIUE).

The Civic Award

The Civic Award is selected by by members of GRHC’s Policy Committee, Chaired by Hamid Karimi, Ph.D., Government of the District of Columbia.
